In Katie's office, Katie was startled by her reaction to Ridge touching her shoulder. A call announcing that Bill was there interrupted them, and Ridge quickly slipped out the back door of the office. Bill entered, and with a serious look on his face, he declared, "I want you back."

The surprised Katie asked what Bill had just said. Bill said it wasn't a game, and it wasn't a lie. He wanted to love Katie again, and he asked her to give them a chance. She thought it sounded familiar, and she sarcastically recalled that he'd said it all to her before -- only to be gone again before breakfast.

Bill acknowledged that he'd had an agenda before, and he admitted that he had one that day, as well. He stated that he'd started a life with Katie, and it was the life he wanted to live again. Katie, however, informed Bill that there was no "you and me" anymore.

Bill posited that the divorce wasn't finalized yet, and they could try again. Katie asked if she was supposed to believe that Bill's feelings for Brooke had vanished. Katie was sure that Bill was there with her because Ridge was back, and Brooke didn't want Bill anymore.

Bill claimed that Ridge wasn't a factor for him. "You really believe that?" Katie asked. Bill said it was only about the two of them. He claimed that he wanted to make up for his mistakes, and he was committed to putting his family back together.

Though a part of Katie wanted to take Bill back and have her family, the other part of her knew that he was there because his first option was off the table. No matter how much Katie wanted to give Will his family back, she refused to be a consolation prize to anyone, not even for her child's father.

Katie relayed that she'd become skeptical and cynical about people after what Bill had done to her, but she didn't want to teach her son to be that way. She imagined that, someday, a man would say beautiful things to her, and she'd be able to trust what she heard. She believed that a man would love her someday, and she wanted to love him freely in return. "But that someone isn't you," Katie told Bill.

Katie said she was sorry that Bill had experienced another epiphany and wanted to return home, but she wasn't his home anymore. She asked him to excuse her so that she could get back to work.

In the CEO's office at Forrester, Ridge sat down to sketch. Brooke entered and noted that his work was fabulous. She said she'd sought him out because of his concern for Katie. Brooke let him know that at that very moment, Bill was asking Katie to take him back.

Ridge assumed that it was some sort of ploy, but Brooke insisted that Bill was serious that time about getting his family back. Ridge didn't buy it, and he didn't think Bill deserved Katie. Brooke replied that it was up to Katie. Ridge thought that Katie was smart, and he hoped Bill didn't hurt her again.

Brooke was glad that Ridge was concerned about Katie, who needed "our" support. Ridge called Katie an incredible woman, who'd even been concerned about Bill during his climb. Brooke noted that her sister could be difficult at times. Ridge started to say that Katie had "always been the most..." Brooke assumed he'd wanted to say that Katie had always been the most decent of the Logan women.

Brooke decided that they should be happy about a Bill and Katie reunion. Ridge asked if Brooke really thought it would happen, and she said she hoped so. Ridge felt that Bill treated Katie like a second-class citizen, but Brooke felt that Katie knew what was best for herself.

Brooke acknowledged that she'd made a mistake, and she'd been lost without Ridge. She said she was getting her priorities straight, and she wanted her family back. Brooke thought that she and Ridge should get their family back on track, just like Bill and Katie were doing.

Brooke asked how Ridge felt about it, and he replied that he just didn't want any more drama. She claimed she'd behave, and smiling, he asked what he'd do with her. Ridge decided that he needed more time. He kissed her cheek, and she strode out, telling him not to slack off at work.

Brooke exited, and Ridge called Katie to ask if he could congratulate her for not taking Bill back. Katie said she hadn't taken Bill back, and she thanked Ridge for visiting her earlier. Ridge assured her that they'd get through the thing together. The call ended, and Katie and Ridge smiled to themselves.

In Rick's office, Quinn entered after Hope had left. Quinn told Liam that she hadn't been able to help overhearing. Liam retorted that she'd been spying again. Quinn corrected that she'd happened by, and she'd heard begging. He told her to stay out of it, but she asked when he'd realize that it was over.

Liam asserted that Quinn didn't know him if she thought he'd just give up. Quinn complained about the many times he'd wronged Hope, but he replied that Quinn had orchestrated the last instances. He felt that her actions reflected badly upon Wyatt, but she said that Hope would eventually understand that Quinn had been protecting her.

Liam stated that the only things Hope needed protection from were Quinn and her son, and he suspected that no one had seen half of Quinn yet. Quinn warned Liam to respect Hope's decision, and Quinn recalled how he'd almost caused her business and employees a great loss due to his insecurities. He replied that his feelings had been right -- if one considered what had happened.

Quinn told Liam that he'd gotten sloppy and complacent, and Hope had moved to a man who valued her. Liam admitted that he didn't know much about the Fullers, but he would bet that they had a lot of secrets. She warned Liam that he didn't know the lengths she'd go to in order to defend her son.

Liam guessed that Quinn's words had been meant as a warning, but Quinn retorted that the warning was that the next time, she wouldn't be so friendly. He wondered if she really thought he'd let her do more damage. Liam said he planned to put a stop to her, and in the process, he'd find out what kind of people the Fullers were. With a smug smile, Liam exited the office.

In the corridor, Pam and Charlie teased each other about the treats they'd baked. They decided to play cowboy and cowgirl later, and Pam said she'd wear stilettos. Liam happened by as the couple discussed Charlie liking stilettos, just not on the jewel thieves. Liam joined the conversation, claiming that he'd love to hear Charlie's perspective on what had occurred.

Charlie explained what Wyatt had done with the coffee and cooed about the publicity the event had garnered. Quinn slipped behind a clothes rack and listened in as Liam asked Charlie to say what had really happen. "I mean, did Wyatt really catch those jewel thieves?" Liam skeptically asked.

At Wyatt's new Malibu house, Wyatt encouraged Hope to move in with him. Hope teased that they could be roommates. Hope said it was too soon to make that kind of move. Wyatt countered that they knew how they felt about each other, and it only made sense for them not to waste time apart.

Hope suggested that it was too big of a step. She wanted to take their relationship slowly. Wyatt disagreed. "Say yes, Hope -- when have I ever steered you wrong?" Wyatt asked. Hope smiled and said that she loved Wyatt's spontaneity. She loved that he was always fun, adventurous and unafraid to take chances.

Wyatt added that he had been an incredibly patient man. Hope wondered if Wyatt had lived with anyone other than his mother. Wyatt admitted that he had not. He wondered if his inexperience in the cohabitation department was a good thing. "I will come visit you a lot," Hope said. Wyatt kissed her.

Wyatt worried that they had always been good together. He didn't want to miss a window of opportunity. Wyatt worried that Hope had always gone back to Liam. Wyatt blamed Liam for letting Hope down and pulling her back in. Wyatt refused to allow it to happen again.

Hope added that she didn't want to rush things and have the appearance of a rebound relationship. Wyatt agreed. He admitted that it may not help the Hope for the Future brand if they moved too quickly. Hope nodded, but she said that she did want to take their relationship public. She was proud of what they had accomplished together personally and professionally. Wyatt complimented her on all that she had done and her status as a role model. He recognized that it was important to do things that would work well on a public level.

Liam gushed that Hope had flawless beauty and incredible strength and integrity all in one priceless package. They kissed.

At Forrester, Quinn quizzed Pam about what Liam had wanted to do with all the details about the jewel heist. Quinn wondered if Liam had planned an article, and Pam felt it would be wonderful to see Charlie in a magazine article. Quinn looked worried. Pam told Quinn that Charlie and Liam were at the boutique. Quinn said she had to leave, but Aly interrupted. Aly insisted that staff needed Quinn in the showroom. Quinn was irritated, but she headed to the showroom.

At the Forrester Rodeo Drive boutique, Charlie explained to Liam that he and Wyatt had been among the last of the Forrester employees in the building when the heist occurred. Charlie said he had been shooing the remaining customers out the door while Wyatt had told a few remaining sales employees that they could leave. When Charlie turned back to look at the diamond, it had been gone. Liam looked suspicious.

Charlie suspected that Liam wanted to accuse Wyatt of being involved in the heist, and Charlie defended Wyatt. Liam insisted that he wanted to know what had happened – he didn't mean to make accusations. Charlie did admit that it seemed fishy. Charlie promised to review the security footage and call Liam if he found anything. Liam left. Later, when Charlie reviewed the surveillance videos, he didn't see anything extraordinary. Charlie looked closer and discovered that Wyatt had indeed removed the necklace – it was visible in a mirror in the security footage. "Liam was right," Charlie said. Charlie picked up the phone to call Liam, and Quinn showed up. Quinn ordered Charlie to put the phone down.

At Forrester, Aly worried that she had offended Quinn. Aly asked Pam if that was the case. Pam told her not to worry. Liam showed up and asked Aly and Pam about Hope. Liam said that Hope had not returned any of his messages and he had been worried. Pam had to leave, and Aly wondered what had happened. Liam said that he needed to talk to Aly in private.

Aly and Liam entered an office, and Liam explained what he believed had happened at the boutique. He confessed that he felt Wyatt had somehow been involved in the heist and not as a hero. Liam worried that Hope was in danger because Quinn and Wyatt would do anything to stay involved in Forrester and in Hope's life. Aly argued that Liam's scenario of Wyatt having a role in stealing the necklace was farfetched. Aly felt Wyatt had no reason to take the necklace because robbers had been there to steal it, and the thieves were seasoned criminals experienced in jewel heists. Liam maintained that Wyatt had done it all as part of a publicity stunt. Aly said it didn't add up, and Aly doubted that Quinn or Wyatt would do anything to hurt Hope.

Aly pointed out that a stunt was an extreme way to increase sales, but Liam argued that Quinn and Wyatt would do whatever it took. Liam noted that Quinn had forged notes and flown halfway around the world to get Steffy to return and ruin Liam and Hope's wedding. Aly tried to calm Liam. Aly said she knew that Quinn had done horrible things to Liam, but Aly maintained that Quinn and Wyatt would never hurt Hope. Liam disagreed. He felt that Hope was in danger.

At Brooke's house, Bill arrived to let Brooke know that Katie had turned him down flat. Brooke ordered him to try harder with Katie. Bill said part of him wanted that, but a bigger part of him wanted to be with Brooke. He suggested that Brooke give him some pointers on how to put their relationship behind him.

Brooke told Bill that Ridge had never been her second choice, and if he'd returned earlier, she never would have been with Bill. Brooke declared that Ridge was what she wanted. Bill contended that reverting to Ridge was a bad habit that she'd been unable to break for years.

Brooke told Bill to go home and convince Katie that their marriage was worth saving. "And you're going to do the same with Ridge?" Bill asked. Brooke said that she would do the same, and she believed that Katie wanted Bill back more than Katie wanted a fight. Bill replied that he didn't know what else he could do because Katie had made it clear she didn't want to reunite.

Brooke suggested that Bill have some resolve instead of giving up so easily, and she instructed him to show Katie that she was worth some effort. Bill said it was hard to think of Brooke with Ridge. Brooke told him not to do that. She said that she'd think of her life, and he needed to think of his. Bill doubted he could do that because of his feelings for her. "Bury them!" Brooke ordered.

Bill couldn't believe that was Brooke's solution. Brooke explained that his reckless "epiphany" on the mountain had changed everything, and she just wanted her life back. Brooke needed Katie to love and respect her again and for Ridge to love her again. Looking at a picture of herself with Ridge and R.J., she said they were the people she loved, and she wouldn't sacrifice them for anything, not even Bill.

Bill slipped up behind Brooke. He put his arms around her and nuzzled his face in her hair. With a shudder, Brooke pulled away and ordered him to never touch her that way again.

In the CEO's office at Forrester, Liam was determined to get proof against Wyatt because he was worried that Wyatt was just as dangerous as Quinn. Aly reasoned that, to everyone else but Liam, Wyatt was charming and talented, and without undeniable evidence, Hope wouldn't believe that Wyatt had stolen the diamond.

Liam pulled out his phone and text-messaged Hope to say that he had something to tell her. Aly warned that he'd look like a jealous ex-boyfriend without proof, and it might make Hope and Wyatt grow closer. Though Liam agreed with Aly, he didn't trust the Fullers. He felt that if he was to be Hope's husband, then it was his job to protect her and get her away from Wyatt.

At the beach house, Wyatt said that his offer to move in was there if Hope ever changed her mind. He claimed to know what she'd been through and promised that she didn't have to worry about him. Hope replied that she was starting to believe that, and the two kissed.

As Hope and Wyatt cuddled on the sofa, Wyatt was excited that they were together. Hope said he was a mix of the safe and the unpredictable. He asked if it were a good thing, and they kissed again.

Wyatt wondered what it was like to be Hope and noted that she had a huge responsibility as an international role model. Reflecting, Hope said that when she'd tied the line to her life, she hadn't had any big problems and hadn't made terrible decisions; however, things had changed, and she'd learned a valuable lesson. She said people made mistakes, and they just had to try not to make them again.

Wyatt admitted that he'd made mistakes, but Hope made him want to be better. He was proud to be with her, and he wanted her to feel the same way about him. Wyatt loved being right in believing that they'd been meant to be. He claimed he'd had some doubt when she'd asked him to back off. He'd dreaded her impending marriage to Liam; however, it hadn't happened, and Hope was with Wyatt.

Wyatt was in wonder about how his life had changed, and he cited the success of the jewelry business and his new house. "But most of all, I have you," he said, and they kissed.

At the boutique, Quinn told Charlie that he wasn't going to call Liam or anyone else, and she explained that a mother's love was a different animal. Charlie replied that his mother had taught him to tell the truth, and the truth in that case was something Quinn didn't like. Quinn reasoned that no one had gotten hurt, but Charlie asked her to consider the stress it had caused him.

Quinn replied that Charlie had been a hero. Charlie relayed that Wyatt had set Charlie and the jewel thieves up, and Wyatt had wound up looking like a wonder to Hope. "It's not true, it's not fair, and I'm not going to let it stand!" Charlie declared.

Quinn asked who paid Charlie's salary, and if he liked working there. She added that he'd even gotten a girlfriend out of the deal. Charlie asked if she was trying to threaten him or his job. Quinn stated that all she was trying to say was that Hope was with Wyatt and might not want Charlie around if he made accusations against Wyatt. Charlie contended that Quinn feared Wyatt would be the one Hope wouldn't want around.

Quinn said that Wyatt had pulled a prank to draw attention to the line. It hadn't been a well-thought-out plan, but he didn't deserve to go to jail over it. She asserted that, as his mother, she couldn't let that happen. She claimed that Wyatt had never been in love before and had made a foolish choice. Charlie, however, stated that Wyatt couldn't go around breaking the law in the name of love.

Quinn conveyed that it had been a brief lapse in judgment that would never happen again. Charlie asked about Liam, but she replied that Hope and Liam had a history of problems, none of which had involved Wyatt. Quinn stated that she was asking Charlie nicely to be quiet about what he knew. "That way, you won't have anything to feel sorry about later," she added with a cold smile.

Just then, Liam called Charlie to learn what Charlie had discovered on the videos. Charlie said he'd been just about to call Liam, and Liam expressed his certainty that Charlie had discovered that Wyatt had palmed the diamond. Looking at Quinn, Charlie hesitated to speak. Liam asked Charlie to reveal what he knew and to consider what he'd do if Pam were in Hope's situation.

Quinn placed her hand on Charlie's shoulder, and Charlie told Liam that he'd found nothing. Liam was shocked, and Quinn took Charlie's phone and ended the call. Quinn quietly left, and Charlie gravely re-watched the footage of Wyatt swiping the diamond.

Back at Forrester, Liam was crestfallen. He received a text message from Hope. She was sorry she'd missed his previous text and asked what he'd wanted to tell her. "Never mind," Liam texted back.

At Forrester, Ridge and Caroline discussed fashion ideas, and Rick suspected that Ridge was trying to snatch her from the HFTF line. Caroline remarked that she was happy where she was, and Ridge added that they were just working together. Rick stated that Ridge seemed to forget that he and Rick also worked together, and Rick suspected that his mother wasn't at the office because of Ridge.

Rick said his mother had been waiting a long time for Ridge's return, and he asked if Ridge had seen her. Ridge replied that he was talking to Brooke. "Talking? That's it?" Rick asked. Rick stated that actions spoke louder than words.

Just then, Bill entered, and Rick and Ridge grimaced. Bill welcomed himself to the building, and the room grew tense as the men exchanged barbs. Bill announced that he'd been looking for Ridge, and tipping up his pinkie as if holding a teacup, Rick suggested that Bill and Ridge go out for croissants.

Ridge said he was comfortable there, and Bill retorted that he didn't give a "rat's ass" about Ridge's comfort. That statement made Caroline uncomfortable, and she rushed Rick out of the office, claiming she had something to show him downstairs.

Bill told Ridge that the best croissants were in Paris, and if Ridge hurried, he could catch the last flight there. Ridge assumed that Bill, who hadn't given up on Brooke, was very worried about Ridge's living arrangements because he saw Ridge as an obstacle. Bill said that Ridge was more of a tease than an obstacle. Pretending to smell the stench of Ridge's superiority in the room, Bill predicted that everyone else's inferiority would send Ridge back to Paris soon.

Ridge said that Brooke was done with her lapse in judgment and wanted Bill to return to his wife. Bill asked if Ridge just liked to see Brooke grovel. Ridge replied that he'd thought he was returning to a life he'd once known. Bill advised Ridge to go for it. Bill said that Brooke was done with him and would shower Ridge with rose petals if Ridge returned to her.

Ridge felt that Bill understated the depth of his repulsiveness. "And your hands on my wife -- that keeps me up at night," Ridge retorted. Bill cited that Ridge had no idea what had gone on, but Ridge insisted that there was no excuse for Bill dumping his wife to sleep with her sister. Bill thought that the words were rich coming from Ridge, who'd dumped his bride over a text message.

Bill asked if Ridge and Brooke had slept together. Ridge said nothing, and Bill urged him not to be shy. In Ridge's continued silence, Bill figured that it hadn't happened because Ridge wasn't gloating about it. Bill further guessed that Brooke hadn't been the one holding off; instead, Ridge had done it because he couldn't bear to touch what Bill had touched, and Bill pretended to be amazed at the discovery of his whole new power over Ridge.

Summarizing Bill's situation, Ridge concluded that Katie would never trust Bill again, and Brooke's future didn't include Bill, which left Bill sleeping on his son's couch. Ridge called Bill the poorest rich man Ridge knew. Bill declared that Ridge took condescension to a new level, and everyone with dirty hands just wasn't good enough for him. Ridge said that he thought Bill should stay away from both women. With a deriding chuckle, Bill left.

In the steam room, Rick and Caroline arrived, and Caroline complained about sacrificing her hair to help Rick relax. As they let the steam unwind them, she commended her husband on how he was handling Ridge's return. Rick said he resented Ridge's past treatment of Brooke, but Rick was trying to put his feelings behind him for Brooke's sake.

Caroline wondered why the steam wasn't burning them, and Rick said he wanted to know how Eric would fix the Ridge situation. To Rick, Ridge had returned out of the blue and had perched himself at the top of command. Caroline requested permission to have a moment of crisis, and she asked if getting married had ruined things.

Rick asked why Caroline thought that. Caroline said they were alone in the steam room, but he wasn't lusting after her. Rick claimed that it wasn't true, and their lust thing would last forty to fifty more years. He said that what he appreciated more than lust was that Caroline had taken him to the steam room because she'd known he'd needed a timeout.

Caroline said that her moment of crisis had ended, and they could return to Rick's crisis about Ridge. Rick noticed that his crisis had ended, too, and the couple moved on to making out.

At Brooke's house, Katie arrived to discuss Bill visiting her the other day. Katie suspected that Brooke had put Bill up to asking Katie if he could return to her, but Brooke stated that he didn't take orders from anyone. Katie asked if it was the first Brooke had heard about Bill's plea. "That's what I thought," Katie stated after studying the look on Brooke's face.

Brooke claimed that she'd been very consistent with Bill, but Katie figured that she should have known that Bill had made her an offer he knew she'd refuse just to score points with Brooke. Katie deduced that, after seeing her, he'd returned to Brooke to say that he'd tried, but Katie had been impossible. Katie was certain that, after telling Brooke that Katie wouldn't go along with it, Bill's next move had been to appeal to Brooke again, and Brooke had probably urged him to try harder with Katie.

Katie wondered if Brooke actually wanted Katie to be with a man who really wanted Brooke. Throwing her hands up, Brooke said she just wanted to do the right thing. Katie believed that and added that she also wanted to do the right thing.

Katie wondered if Brooke thought Katie should take Bill back and live with separate bedrooms. Katie reasoned that perhaps she should do that for her son, and perhaps Ridge wrestled with the same dilemma. Brooke stated that Katie had loved Bill and he'd made her happy once, and Brooke wondered why Katie couldn't try to find that love with Bill again.

"Because he lied to me -- and to you," Katie responded. Katie stated that she'd do anything to get the feelings for Bill back, but she couldn't just will it into being like Brooke could. Katie said Brooke fell in and out of love easily and could capture the same excitement from one man to the next. "Is that really fair?" Brooke asked.

Katie said that she couldn't conduct her love life the way Brooke conducted hers. Katie couldn't turn the feelings on and off. Bill had been the love and the life that Katie had wanted. Brooke conveyed that Katie could have it, but Katie yelled that she didn't even know who Bill was anymore.

Katie said she'd been waiting for the man she'd loved to show up, but that man had been lost to her. Brooke had become lost to Katie, too, and that left Katie lost and moving forward in a life that she didn't recognize. Brooke asked what she could do, but Katie didn't know what she wanted or needed.

In a mess of tears, Katie rushed out of Brooke's house and collided with Ridge, who was striding up the sidewalk.
