It's felt like a trip back to the 1990s on The Young and the Restless as we've watched Christine and Phyllis battle for Danny's heart as if no time has passed. Phyllis was up to her old tricks, and Christine wasn't going to take it anymore. She already lost Danny once and wasn't going to lose him again.
Phyllis was relentless. Danny almost caved, but he finally set things straight while also inviting Christine to tour with him so they could rekindle their romance away from Genoa City. Does that mean this is the end of Michael Damian's latest Y&R run?
That's just what fans wanted to know. Damian took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on March 10 and reposted a fan-made video of Christine and Danny's love story going back to the 1980s. Lauralee Bell originally posted it on November 23 of last year.
@Slurpeemonster asked Damian if the post meant that his time with Y&R was up. Damian had a very emphatic answer.

Fans were relieved to see the news that their beloved Danny still has some Genoa City life left in him.
Damian began playing the character as a young up-and-coming rock star way back in 1981. Danny was first involved with college student Traci Abbott but also struck up a friendship with teenage Jabot model Cricket Blair. Cricket grew up to be high-powered attorney Christine Williams -- and Danny's wife.
The actor has come and gone from the show through the years, and Danny hadn't been seen or heard from for nearly a decade when he paid a visit to Genoa City in 2022. He didn't have a storyline then, but his late 2023 visit brought the Christine/Danny/Phyllis triangle back to the forefront. From the sounds of Damian's tweet, Christine might still have some fighting to do.
