The Young and the Restless is seeking a Caucasian male in his mid-20s for the contract role of Matt Wilkins.
Matt is described as "handsome and sophisticated" and likened to a member of the Kennedy family.
It is unclear if the character's real name is Matt Wilkins or if the name is simply a pseudonym being used for casting purposes. There have been whispers that Kyle Abbott will be returning to the canvas in the near future. Sawyer Hartley is the last actor to portray Kyle, but he hasn't been seen on-screen since January 2014.
Whoever is cast in the contract role will begin taping at the end of January, which may mean that the character could pop up during the tail end of February Sweeps.
