Poppy insisted that Bill was not Luna's father, and when Luna proposed finding out who her father was through tests, Poppy implored her daughter not to do it. Finn was excited to see his Aunt Poppy again and told Luna about the time, a year before Luna had been born, that Poppy had lived with Finn's family. Zende resented the fact that the "Golden Child" had a multi-million-dollar beach house. Luna and R.J. made love. While talking to Ridge, Thomas revealed his marriage proposal to Hope, and Ridge gave it his blessing. Steffy was upset about it when Ridge told her, but he insisted that she let her brother find love. Hope let it slip that Thomas had proposed, and Brooke begged Hope to give the ring back. Again, Thomas asked Hope to marry him, and again, she told him that she needed more time.

Ava interrogated Wendy about her feelings for Tripp. Chad reluctantly agreed to be Johnny's best man. Xander told Stefan about a mysterious phone call. Alex asked Brady for advice. Sloan was frustrated by motherhood. Brady helped Theresa at work. Lucas did an interview with Chad and Everett. Maggie advised Alex to break up with Theresa, but he joined a support group instead. Maggie asked Brady to talk to the board about rehiring her at Titan. Stefan and Ava had drunken sex. Konstantin insulted Xander over a family dinner and angered Maggie.

Spencer and Trina's romantic getaway on the Seine turned into a nightmare when Esme slipped on board the yacht and ambushed Spencer and Trina. After drugging Spencer, Esme attacked Trina with deadly intent. Spencer managed to pull Esme off Trina, but he and Esme fell overboard and disappeared under the water. Dante broke the news to Laura that Spencer and Esme were presumed dead. A sniper took aim at Sonny on the island, but they managed to escape without a trace, leading Sonny to realize that the assassin had inside knowledge of his security team. Tracy persuaded Mrs. Muldoon to drop the lawsuit against Finn. At Brook Lynn and Chase's request, Tracy kept Lois from taking over the wedding plans. Adam stood up to his father and accepted a helping hand from Felicia. Jordan and Anna paid Brennan a visit in jail to get some answers about the gun used in Curtis' shooting. Brennan offered to exchange information for immunity. Things took an unexpected turn when Jordan and Anna set up a sting operation in a motel room on their hunt for information about the stolen WSB guns, only to have the FBI -- headed by Jagger Cates -- burst through the door with guns drawn. Nikolas returned to Port Charles with Ace.

Nikki offered Audra a job in London, but when Audra declined, Nikki fired her. Audra tried to mend fences with Tucker in the hope of gaining control of Glissade from the inside. Tucker suspected that Audra and Nate were up to something. Ashley became livid when a waiter at the Parisian bistro backed up Tucker's version of Ashley and Tucker's argument. Ashley accused Tucker of paying off the waiter. Jack and Traci worried about Ashley's state of mind. Audra forced Tucker to choose between her and Ashley, and he chose Audra. Victor was irked when he learned Nikki had opened up to Jack about her traumatic experience in Oregon. News broke that a fire had broken out at the prison where Jordan was being held, and it was unknown whether Jordan had perished or escaped. Nikki hit the bottle again after she found out Jordan might be on the loose, and she turned to Jack for help. Victor became suspicious when he found Nikki and Jack together. Nikki was shaken when she received a call from an unknown caller. Diane confronted Kyle about his attempts to undermine her at work. Lucy eavesdropped on Daniel and Heather's conversation and was thrilled to learn that her parents had reunited. Chelsea was concerned about Adam's reaction to Connor's problems at school. Chance and Summer got to know one another better on their first official date.
