When Bennett Devlin arrived in Port Charles to check on his daughter Julie, he discovered he had more connections than he realized. Julie's very own roommate was none other than Eve Lambert, the woman he had an affair with when he was teaching at a medical school. Eventually the truth came out devastating his wife, Nicole, who eventually decided to file for divorce. He is now busy trying to make Chris Ramsey's life miserable since he and Nicole had a fling before she filed for divorce.

However, Julie had to put an end to her own father's life. She murdered him and murdered him by using Kevin Collin's book, General Homicide. She used the same murder techniques as in the book.

Or at least that's what everyone thought. It was later confirmed by none other than Greg Cooper that it was actually he (Greg), and not Julie Devlin who murdered Bennett and the other General Homicide victims. Cooper confessed this to Kevin Collins while he thought Kevin would surely die.
